TORONTO — The Hudson’s Bay Company will fold all Home Outfitters into HBC Department Store Group as Hudson’s Bay Home stores, Retail Insider reports. The move could lead to the closure of several of Home Outfitters’ 69 locations as others face extensive renovations. A company spokesperson confirmed the closures will include locations at Mississauga’s Square One and in Abbotsford, B.C. The company hopes the merger will help to streamline operations as it focuses on making merchandise available online.
