Tony Duffy, who led Rust-Oleum’s Canadian business as VP and GM, died last weekend at 79. Born in Cheadle, near Manchester, England, he immigrated with his family to Canada in 1986. He retired from Rust-Oleum in 2006, but remained an active cyclist, an avid Blue Jays fan, and a prayer minister at evangelical churches in Oakville and Stouffville, Ont. Duffy is survived by wife Valerie; children Nicola (Tom), Sarah (Chris), and Robert (Caroline); and grandchildren Isabel, Jacob (Maura), Claire, Julian, Sophie, and Miles.
