TORONTO — Fully 70% of shoppers use their smartphones in store, according to the latest Mobile Personas report. The survey, conducted by Tapped Mobile, App Promo, and BrandSpark polled almost 1,000 Canadians, and found that closer to 80% in the younger bracket had used their smartphones while shopping, and 58% of shoppers saw an increase in use. At the same time, the survey found only 10% are using phones for payment, according to Report on Business.
