BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — RONA inc. celebrates the official opening of a new store in Rockland, Ont., today. The store is owned by J. Lalonde & Fils, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The fourth generation of the Lalonde family carries on the tradition in this new outlet, a $6 million investment that features 15,000 square feet of retail space plus a 75,000-square-foot yard with a 6,000-square-foot drive-through. The Lalondes also own another RONA store in nearby Hammond.
