Lowe’s Canada issues responsibility highlights

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Lowe’s Canada has released its 2019 corporate responsibility highlights, a complement to the corporate responsibility report it published last month. The highlights include a $4.9 million investment in more than 250 local non-profit organizations across Canada and the offering of more than 5,000 ECO products online and in stores. Lowe’s Canada also met its 2020 target ahead of schedule to have 100 percent of indoor residential carpets and rugs free of PFAS chemicals. The company saw plastic bag use down by 58 percent compared to 2017.
