Lowe’s Canada has been featured on the list of Canada’s Greenest Employers 2021. Held by Mediacorp, this annual competition recognizes employers who have implemented exceptional sustainability initiatives and lead the way toward creating a culture of environmental awareness within their organizations.
“From our free take-back programs for paint, batteries, and light bulbs, to our selection of over 5,000 ECO products and our recent investment of more than 24 million dollars in energy efficiency initiatives, we are determined to implement forward-looking initiatives to leave a healthy planet to future generations,” Jean-Sébastien Lamoureux, VP of public affairs, asset protection, and sustainable development, said in a release.
Other companies recognized include Loblaw Cos. Ltd., Home Depot of Canada, and IKEA Canada.
