Lowe’s Canada supports children’s sleep

Lowe’s Canada has presented $10,000 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) Windsor-Essex to support the organization in its quest to ensure every child in the community has a suitable bed.

Founded in September 2020 by Brian Cyncora and his wife Terry, the Windsor-Essex SHP chapter will use these funds to help buy the tools needed to start building beds and procure materials to build their first 100 beds for local kids.

“We are thrilled to support the opening of a new chapter of SHP, a charity whose work has positive impacts that go far beyond the children who receive beds,” Jean-Sébastien Lamoureux, Lowe’s Canada’s senior VP for public affairs, asset protection, and sustainable development, said in a release. “It fosters a sense of service and community spirit of which we could all use a little more in these trying times.”
