MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s has opened a massive, 1.4 million-square-foot distribution centre in Pennsylvania. The facility will ship large products such as appliances and lawn and garden items on a daily basis to Lowe’s cross-dock facilities. The retailer has more than 130 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey and New York that will receive product from the new facility. It’s part of a $1.7 billion investment Lowe’s is making in its supply chain over the next five years.
