ATLANTA — Newell Brands announced last week an agreement to sell its Rubbermaid consumer storage totes business, which represents about $70 million in annual sales, to plastics firm United Solutions. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, it includes a five-year licence for the Rubbermaid name. At the same time, Newell is divesting its matches, logs, toothpick, and laundry businesses.
