Réno-Dépôt launches new concept store

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — RONA inc. has unveiled the new positioning of its Réno-Dépôt banner with a new store concept at its Saint-Hubert location. This major repositioning has been central to RONA’s overall recovery strategy, as outlined by president and CEO Robert Sawyer.

The new—and much-anticipated—concept being rolled out at the Saint-Hubert store has been seen as a return to the banner’s value-driven, contractor-oriented big box roots. It features an emphasis on national brands that have been chosen to meet the needs of both renovation professionals and serious DIYers. The procurement policy, with fewer SKUs and greater depth of merchandise, has also been changed to make sure product is always in stock.

All 16 Réno-Dépôt stores are to be converted before year’s end.
