TORONTO — The Retail Council of Canada has announced that the Billes Family, founders of Canadian Tire Corp., will be the 2015 recipient of council’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The accolade is awarded for outstanding business success and community service. Martha Billes, daughter of founder A.J. Billes and Canadian Tire’s controlling shareholder, will accept the award at a gala in June.
