WASHINGTON — The U.S. Census Bureau announced that advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for June, adjusted for seasonal variation and holiday and trading-day differences, but not for price changes, were $442 billion, a decrease of 0.3% from the previous month, but up 1.4% above June 2014. Total sales for the April 2015 through June 2015 period were up 1.7% from the same period a year ago. The April to May percent change was revised from +1.2% to +1.0%. Retail trade sales were down 0.3% from May 2015, but up 0.6% above last year.
