BURNABY, B.C. — Sales for building supplies wholesaler Taiga Building Products Ltd. climbed a healthy 11% in the company’s second quarter, reaching $383.6 million compared to $344.9 million in the same period last year. Year-to-date sales were also up 11%, going from $680.7 million to $758.3 million. Net earnings for the six month period doubled, reaching $11.2 million over $5.5 million.
