MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Target’s prices are beginning to undercut those of Walmart, a year after the Minneapolis-based retailer launched in Canada to complaints about higher prices than its American stores. A study by Boston’s Kantar Retail compared 33 national brands in grocery, health, and beauty lines, and found prices at Target to be on average about 4% below those at Canadian Walmart stores, according to Report on Business.
