BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — RONA recognized a 30% hike in sales at its Vernon, B.C., outlet with the banner’s national big box store of the year award, the Vernon Morning Star reports. General manager Clint Dickinson credited his “great team,” which has also earned the store a jump in its customer satisfaction store from 80 to 90%. The 52,000-square-foot score opened in 2005, and Dickinson, who has been manager for two years, says the success is a result of strong community loyalty, whether it’s professional contractors or the home-based DIY customer.
