BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart’s chief merchandising officer Duncan Mac Naughton is stepping down, the Wall Street Journal has reported. In a memo on Tuesday, CEO Greg Foran said Mac Naughton was leaving “to pursue opportunities” and his resignation takes effect immediately. A spokesperson for Mac Naughton confirmed the move. Mac Naughton largely engineered the retailer’s strategy for a week-long Black Friday sales event.
