West Fraser Timber Co. reported a loss of $173 million for a second quarter impacted by low pulp prices and unplanned downtime at its mills. Revenues for the quarter came to US$1.608 billion (C$2.1 billion), down from US$1.627 billion in Q1 and US$2.887 billion a year earlier.
