BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Lowe’s is celebrating the grand opening of its first store in Milton, Ont., next week, with Mayor Gordon Krantz joining Alan Blundell, Divisional vice president of merchandising for Lowe’s big box business, for a board-cutting ceremony. The new store represents an investment of some $24 million and will create 145 jobs, with an additional 40 seasonal positions. It will offer about 40,000 products in-stock and approximately 84,000 square feet of retail sales space, along with an adjacent garden centre of some 10,000 square feet.
